The Indian counterpart of Big Brother, Bigg Boss was an iconic part of this decade. The latest instalment of the show, Bigg Boss 13 was won by the TV actor, Sidharth Shukla who is known for his roles in Balika Vadhu and Dil Se Dil Tak.
Here is a list of all the winners over the years:
Rahul Roy - Season 1; 2006
This Aashiqui actor won the first-ever season of Bigg Boss India. He is still very much a part of the industry, albeit not an extremely successful one.
Ashutosh Kaushik - Season 2; 2008
After winning Roadies V, Ashutosh won the second season of Bigg Boss and tried his hand at acting. He appeared in TV shows like Comedy Circus - Chinchpokli to China and Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayenge.
Vindu Dara Singh - Season 3; 2009
After winning the third season of the show, Vindu Dara Singh appeared in a ton of Bollywood movies including some prominent ones like Housefull and Son of Sardar. In 2013 he made headlines for being involved in the IPL scandal.
Shweta Tiwari - Season 4; 2010
The actor who made her mark by playing Prerna on Kasautii Zindagii Kay won the show in 2010. After concurring this reality TV show, she went back to being the leading actress on Indian television. Shweta was last seen in Hum Tum And Them, an ALT Balaji web series.
Juhi Parmar - Season 5; 2011
After winning the show in 2011, Juhi left the TV industry. She runs a successful YouTube channel now and Vlogs regularly.
Urvashi Dholakia - Season 6; 2012
Famous for her role as Komolika, Urvashi took a break after winning Bigg Boss. Now, the actor is back on Indian television and was last seen on Nach Baliye.
Gauhar Khan - Season 7; 2013
Gauhar, who was an actor and already had a reality TV show called the Khan Sisters before she came on Bigg Boss, continued to be in the limelight. She was last seen in The Office's Indian version on Hotstar.
Gautam Gulati - Season 8; 2015
After winning Bigg Boss, Gautam Gulati went on to star in Azhar and was last seen in the 2019 web series, Operation Cobra on Eros Now.
Prince Narula - Season 9; 2016
After winning MTV Roadies and Splitsvilla, Prince went on to win Bigg Boss in 2016, pulling a hattrick in reality TV. After the win, Prince bagged his first acting opportunity on TV in Badho Bahu. Since he has been seen in various TV dramas like Laal Ishq and Naagin 3. In 2019, Prince also won Nach Baliye 9 with his wife and fellow actor, Yuvika Chaudhary. Manveer Kumar Baisoya (Manveer Gurjar) - Season 10; 2017
The first non-celebrity to win the title, Manveer is actually a farmer and dairy agriculturist by profession. Post his win, he went back to his life in Noida and is an avid social worker.
Shilpa Shinde - Season 11; 2018
This popular Indian television actress gave up her career in TV post her Bigg Boss win for a career in politics. In 2019, she joined the Indian National Congress and will be seen participating in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Dipika Kakar - Season 12; 2018
Dipika Kakar, who rose to fame with Sasural Simar Ka won Bigg Boss 12 in 2018. Post her win, she went back to appearing on TV shows and was last seen in Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum opposite Karan Grover.
13. Season 13 – Siddharth Shukla (2019-2020)
Siddharth Shukla is an Indian film and television actor. He is famous for playing the role of ‘Shivraj Shekhar’ in “Balika Vadhu” (2008).

The show started in 2006 and this year, the 12th season of the show will be aired. Every season, this show has created new TRP records. Other than Hindi, this show is been made in six other languages Bengali, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Marathi. The contestants live in an isolated house and perform tasks.
